Hey there Sassafrass.........
The membership forms now get sent to the new secretary - should have the new forms with the new secretarys details on the website shortly......
Address is:
CBHSA Secretary
Craig Coburn
"Wollemi" PO Box 77
Minnipa SA 5654
You can get her transfered to your name if your papers arent forthcoming - all you need to do is fill out a registration form that is online as well, and send that to the Registrar - Jenni Larsen (her address is on the CBHSA website too)
Just explain that your mare is registered, but you havent got the papers from the previous owner, and that you would like a new set and for her to be transfered to your name.
All you do is write down all the details you know and her brands and Jenni can sort that out for you

Helps if you know her registered name or at least her sire and dam and what year she was born.........
Benefits of being a member of the CBHSA are that you get a newsletter every 2 months, the CBHSA sponsors classes at shows, and you need to be a CBHSA member to enter nearly every show that has classes for CBs....
You can participate in the high points awards for the CBHSA as well - you send in your showing and dressage placings and % scores and at the end of the financial year you get a prize if you should happen to be the winner........ it also gives you an idea of how you are going against other CB owners in Australia and NZ......
There is a great range of merchandise available too!!
There is also a new CB club that is going to be starting up in Victoria in the Gipsland area I believe.......
Kerryn Dunlop is the Victorian CBHSA representative too.......she is really lovely -
karramar@hotmail.com is her email address. Just put CBHSA in the subject line if you send her an email.
We have a new committee for the CBHSA and are all committed to promoting the horses and finding out what the members want and doing our best to please..........
So join up, and have your say!

Talkingshell who posts here too is the Newsletter Editor and the treasurer for the CBHSA as well as being a committee member!
