Magnum was imported into NZ from England in 1986 at six months old by Clyde Langford. The lady that owns him now used to work for Clyde Langford and she was horrified to find him twelve years ago in a Gisborne horse sale in a neglected state. She has given him a good home.

My question is; ...

I'm new to this forum and confess I know little about Cleveland Bays, but like all breeds I'm discovering the facts and fallacies that circulate about them. In New Zealand we have had some lovely stallions imported over the years but they don't seem to be as popular as they once were. This might be just a sign of the times or whats more fashionable.

I bought a Cleveland Bay Sporthorse mare years ago called Wetherby Galaxy by Osberton Goliath out of a TB mare. She was a whopping 17.0hh. She ...

My friends experienced with warmbloods say they all go through their bucking/rearing stages in early training and it should grow out of them when they mature (around 6 or 7) but has anyone had any real problems or is the occasional buck/rear just common? How many years did it take before the occurences stopped completely?

Hi all

Been awhile... Hope you all are well

Thought I'd do a quick update on my wonderful mare (i'm not prejudiced or anything )

We are now riding out bush and our capped hocks are all but gone. The vet couldn't do anything, so I tried homeopathy, and well... its worked. No lameness and one hock still a little larger.

Here's some piccies just before we went on our first ride out bush...

Practising our one rein stop

all ears LOL

I just practically threw him out for about 3 months with do nothing to let him grow up a bit! All I did was just feed him and do some brushing also some handling like catching him to put rope halter on. And do a bit of foot handling also touching his body and rugging him that was about it.

I got this lady who she says she really loves my boy and keeps on saying oh he is just so cute, lovely face! Anyway she did some work with him and was surprised to ...

As suggested in the Introductions section, you can get a photobucket account for free at www.photobucket.com - upload your pics and then copy the last link which is the Img link and just paste that into your message you are typing......

Or, you can do the following:

Type your message or whatever you want to do in the window.........
